Irish ivy - Hedera hibernica ‘Tesselata’
In a nutshell
Irish ivy, Hedera hibernica ‘Tesselata’, is a vigorous variety with small grey-green foliage streaked with white veins.
In spring, the foliage lights up with a pale yellow that brightens up the garden area.
Yellow colouring is fairly random. It requires warm weather conditions. It is thought to be caused by the mosaic virus.

All your questions about ivy
How do I look after an ivy kokedama?
Ivy lends itself perfectly to the creation of kokedama. This type of kokedama is easy to maintain.
Rewet the kokedama by soaking it in a bowl of water about once a week or when the ball starts to dry out. Leave it to soak for 10 to 15 minutes, then let it drain completely.
Choose a spot with indirect light. Ivy prefers a bright environment, but not direct sunlight.
If the humidity is too low, spray the kokedama lightly with water to maintain the correct level of humidity.
Ivy in literature
“The ivy formed a natural archway at the entrance to the garden, a portal between two worlds.”
