Ornamental ivy, Hedera helix ‘Troll panaché’ (variegated troll)’,is an ivy plant with small, bird's-foot-shaped leaves, delicately striped with cream.
The leaf blade is made up of 3 to 5 attractively veined lobes that point forwards. They are lanceolate, elongated, sometimes falciform and contorted, with wavy margins.
It is a compact plant, perfect for making a small ground cover, but also interesting as a topiary or bonsai.
History
This cultivar is a mutation of ‘Troll’ discovered in 2004 by Iñaki Garmendia Ginea in the Basque Country.
