The medium-sized leaves are irregularly lobed. They have a crinkled surface, twisted at the edges, giving an original wavy bubble appearance. The leaves are light green in colour, with a reddish margin in cold weather. The young shoots are green and purple.
Ivy can be used as a climber or ground cover, in sun or shade. Visit internodes are short. It forms large masses of foliage.
