Ornamental ivy, Hedera helix ‘Dolly’ adult, is the tree form of ‘Dolly’ ivy, almost as vigorous as the juvenile form.
The leaves are unlobed, dark green, glossy and slightly wavy. The stems are well-branched, medium to thick.
Flowering takes place in October-November. The berries are black when ripe and are a favourite with birds in winter. Choose a well-lit spot.
History
The juvenile form originated at Whitehjouse Ivies Nursery, Essex, UK, where it was discovered in 1993.
