Ornamental ivy - Hedera helix ‘Ceridwen’

Ornamental ivy, Hedera helix ‘Ceridwen’, The name, which means ‘pretty’ in Welsh, is apt.
It has beautiful green and grey mottled leaves with more or less golden margins. Some leaves are 70% golden yellow, while others are almost green. The leaves have 3 pointed lobes with a prominent central lobe. The base of the leaf is truncated to wedge-shaped, sometimes almost cordate.
This is a very elegant and colourful ivy that looks great as a climber or ground cover.
This variety won the RHS (Royal Horticultural Society) Garden Award of Merit in 2002.
History
This cultivar was introduced by Frode Maegaard of Hedera Nursery, Ringe, Denmark. It is a mutation of ‘Ester’.
