Description
Ornamental ivy - Hedera helix ‘Kolibri’
In a nutshell
Ornamental ivy, Hedera helix ‘Kolibri’, is an ivy with luminous variegations that always make a big impact.
The leaves are composed of 3 to 5 lobes with shallow sinuses. The leaf blade is dark green to bright green, with creamy yellow variegation. The variegation is more pronounced on plants exposed to the sun. The stems are well branched. Younger plants turn pink in winter.
It is a variety that has undergone many successive selections. It can therefore be found in more or less variegated variants. It is a little tricky to grow in damp conditions. It is more suitable as a houseplant.
