Ornamental ivy, Hedera helix ‘White Ripple’, is a stocky, slow-growing variety with few branches.
The small, toothed leaves have 5 to 7 pointed lobes facing forwards.
The green leaf blade is mottled grey with wide creamy white margins. The variegation is irregular, occurring at the edge and sometimes spilling out towards the centre.
History
This cultivar, of unknown origin, was introduced by Hedera Plant BV, Netherlands in 1996.
