Ornamental ivy, Hedera helix ‘Smithii’, is a variety similar to ‘Baccifer’ in shape and shoots.
Only the juvenile foliage differs in being light green to yellow, with a red border in spring on cold nights. The leaf is made up of 5 wavy, curved lobes. It has a fairly geometric appearance.
It's a good ground cover that also works well in pots.

This cultivar was described by Nannenga-Bremekamp in 1970.
