Description
Ornamental ivy - Hedera helix ‘Baden-Baden’
In a nutshell
Ornamental ivy, Hedera helix ‘Baden-Baden’, This is one of the ivy species of interest because of its great resistance to drought and sun.
The medium-sized leaves have 3 to 5 narrow, pointed, downward-curving lobes. The median lobe is longer than the lateral lobes. The symmetrical leaf blade is medium to dark green, with a slight blush in summer. It also takes on some colour in winter.
This is a well-branched ivy with fairly short internodes, for use as ground cover or as a climber.
