Ornamental ivy, Hedera helix ‘Anne-Marie’, is a climbing variety of medium vigour.
Juvenile leaves have 3 to 5 lobes rounded at the apex, while adult leaves are diamond-shaped. The leaf blade is dark green and grey-green with cream margins. The petiole is short. The stems are fairly long and sparsely branched.
This variety prefers medium-humidity loamy soil. It struggles to establish itself in drained soil. It does very well in pots.
History
This cultivar is a mutation of ‘Harald’ discovered in Denmark in 1958.
