Ornamental ivy, Hedera helix ‘Spectrum’, is a ground cover with foliage consisting of 3 to 5 lobes with a tapering, slightly scurved central lobe.
New shoots have green leaves with yellow spots, more pronounced in cool conditions and fading as the leaves develop. They are supported by very long green petioles.
This is a non-climbing ivy to be planted in sun or part-shade.
History
This cultivar is probably a mutation of ‘Triton’. It was introduced into the catalogue of Fibrex Nurseries, UK, in 1979.
