Ornamental ivy, Hedera helix ‘Needlepoint’, is a very branchy ivy, with slender stems bearing numerous small leaves with 3 narrow, pointed lobes.
The foliage remains dark green all year round, although a slight red tinge may appear in dry, cold winds.
This variety forms a real ball cushion, like a hedgehog.
