Description
Ornamental ivy - Hedera helix ‘Frosty’
In a nutshell
Ornamental ivy, Hedera helix ‘Frosty’, is a small ground cover plant with miniature, more or less star-shaped leaves.
Young shoots are splashed with white, while older leaves are olive green. The leaf blade has 5 elongated, downward-curving lobes, varying in colour from creamy white to green, with dark green flecks along the veins or all over the leaf surface.
This is a compact ivy with very short internodes. This form is also suitable for use in pots, where it creates a beautiful effect.
Beware, this is a rather fragile ivy, sensitive to bad weather (cold rain), so it should be protected in winter.
