Description
Irish ivy - Hedera hibernica ‘Big Shot’
In a nutshell
Irish ivy, Hedera hibernica ‘Big Shot’, is a particularly vigorous ivy, comparable to the Colchis ivy.
The leaf is heart-shaped, but can also be oval. Some also have small asymmetrical lateral legs, but more often the leaf is unlobed, forming a convex cup. The leaf blade is a shiny dark green. It turns red in the sun and can turn brown in cold winter conditions.
