Wood ivy, Hedera helix ‘Tumulus Saint-Miel’, is an ivy similar to the type, but differs in that its leaves are smaller, with shallow lobes or no lobes at all.

The leaves are dark green. The stems are spreading with moderately tight internodes.

This variety can be used as ground cover or as a climber, and is easy to grow in shade or part-shade.

History

This cultivar was spotted by Olivier Arcelus at the Tumulus Saint-Michel in Morbihan, near Carnac.
