Ornamental ivy - Hedera helix ‘Perle’

Ornamental ivy, Hedera helix ‘Pearl’, The leaves are either unlobed or three-lobed, almost rounded, scurved along the edges and sometimes misshapen.
The leaf blade, green or grey-green in the centre, is more or less edged with cream and/or white.
This cultivar produces both thick, upright stems and long, creeping shoots. It is a good ground cover plant for small areas, excellent in pots or window boxes.
History
This cultivar was selected by Brother Ingobert Heieck, from the monastery in Neuburg, Germany, in 1980. It is a mutation of ‘Harald’.
